"That thing ate my book"

Today we went to the library to take back some books. Apparently, Carson has never seen the book return process. He watched as his favorite book, that he can read all by himself, go down the slide and disappear. He absolutely freaked out. He screamed, "That's my book!! That's my book. That thing ate my book". I am a mean mom so, 3 hours after we returned from the library, I had to remind him and take this video:

I Have No Idea Why Our Kids Get Us Mixed Up

This is my wonderful sis Debbie Jeffery. I have really enjoyed living in Utah because I have so many friends everywhere. People smile, wave, and yell at me, "Hi Debbie". I am so popular being Debbie so I don't tell anyone I'm really not her. The best part is seeing how long it takes our kids to figure out which one is holding them. I love ya Debs!!

Dear Linda,

What a beautiful life. I have been in tears looking through these pictures. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful mother-in law. Thank you for all that you do for us. You have helped us so much. I have many memories of you coming over to help me clean house. I can remember a Sunday, when the twins were babies, we came home from church and found you there with a spotless house and a roast in the oven. I also remember when Bryson started school, you came over with a huge bag of clothes for him (I don't need to mention the fact that they were the perfect size). When we started the Ivy League, your continual support was wonderful. I appreciate you listening to me and looking over my sarcasm. Thank you for raising an amazing son, or I could say it like Addy "I'm glad my father was born from her and she was a good mom". And so many other things I have failed to mention, I will forever be grateful. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

We didn't know we had actors in our family. These kids were ready to rob a bank after this. They were very serious about the parts they were playing. Even Carson, after finally agreeing to put on a cowboy costume, he got into gear. He screamed to put on a "beauful dress" until we told him the cowboy costume was cute. He said "ok, so cuut"
